Match day has a different tone than league night and these designs match it. The victory badge — a silhouetted player, both arms up, racquet aloft, set in a worn circular crest — is the centrepiece: an involuntary gesture nobody practises and everybody makes, treated like a monument. Around it sit the scoreboard lines and the club crests, which read as confident rather than jokey.
