About Court Sportswear
Court Sportswear started on a public court in Austin, Texas, with a problem most competitive players know well: you can find plenty of tennis clothes, but very few that actually feel like the sport. The rack options were either flimsy fast-fashion tees that soaked through by the second set, or premium kit priced like you had a tournament sponsor. Nothing in between felt made for the grind of league night.
The founder is a USTA league player โ the kind who plays year-round, tracks a rating, and knows exactly how a shirt behaves in the third set of a hot match. Court Sportswear grew out of that: apparel designed by someone who plays, tested on court before it ever goes live, and built around performance fabric first and graphics second.
What we actually make
Everything is performance apparel for tennis and pickleball โ crew-neck tees, tanks, hoodies, and warm-ups in moisture-wicking fabric, plus original court-culture graphics (retro-gaming nods, beer-league humor, clean typographic designs) for players who want gear with a little personality. Every design is chosen because it works in real play, not because it fills a catalog slot.
Designed in Austin, printed in the USA
Court Sportswear is designed in Austin, TX and printed and shipped in the USA. We use print-on-demand production, which means each shirt is made when you order it rather than sitting in a warehouse. That keeps the catalog wide, cuts waste, and lets us test new designs without gambling on inventory. The honest trade-off: production takes 3โ5 business days before your order ships, so we tell you that up front rather than promising overnight delivery we can't keep.
How we think about fit and fabric
We lead with fabric because it's what you feel on court. Performance polyester wicks sweat to the surface and dries between points instead of hanging heavy the way cotton does. Cuts are true-to-size and athletic without being restrictive โ room to serve, no fabric dragging at the shoulder. If you're between sizes or want a specific drape, our size guide walks through the measurements so you order once and get it right.
The standard we hold
Two rules run the shop. First, be honest โ about shipping timelines, about what a fabric will and won't do, about sizing. Second, only ship gear we'd wear to our own matches. That's the whole brand: real players, honest apparel, made in the USA and built for the court.
