Why we name the blank
Most printed-apparel brands describe every shirt as performance wear. The blank is what determines whether a shirt wicks, not the print on it, so the honest answer is the manufacturer and model number. Ours is A4 N3142: 100% polyester interlock, moisture-wicking with odor resistance, UPF rated. If a product page here does not say N3142, it is not a wicking shirt, and we would rather say so than sell you a cotton tee for a July match.
Cotton is not a mistake, it is a different job
A combed ring-spun cotton tee is the better shirt for practice, the bar afterwards and anything that is not a hot match. It is softer, it holds a print better and it does not smell of polyester after a season. We sell more cotton than polyester on purpose.
